Detailed description is This is the Facebook page of the Hofstra University High School Journalism Institute, a two-week journalism camp funded by the New York Press Association.
The Hofstra University Summer High School Journalism Institute is funded with the generous support of the Press Club of Long Island and the New York Press Association.
Its mission is to introduce Nassau County high school students from communities of color to journalism and encourage them to enter the field.
Participants must have demonstrated a prior interest in the media through their participation in their student newspapers and/or literary journals.
