Detailed description is Hilltop Farms is a certified organic produce farm, 15 miles south of Raleigh, with a CSA, u-pick strawberries, farm stand, wholesale and retail sales.
Hilltop Farms of Willow Springs is Wake County, NC's first and only USDA certified organic farm.
Grown out of a 250 year old family farm, we have converted 34 acres of conventional tobacco fields over the past 15 years into organic produce and small grains, such as barley and wheat.
We offer sales of fresh picked organic vegetables to the public at our farm stand during the growing season and through a 100 + member CSA.
We also sell at the Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market, to several restaurants, Harmony Farms health food store, The Produce Box, and are founding members of Eastern Carolina Organics which distributes produce across the state.
We offer farm tours, horse boarding and pic-yer-own organic strawberries in May here at the farm.
