My name is Tympest Crawford and I will be a senior this fall at Iowa State University majoring in Performing Arts with a Dance Emphasis and a minor in Business.
Stairway to the Stars in Washington, IA is where I trained for 16 years before continuing my dance career at Iowa State.
While at Iowa State, I have been fortunate enough to be selected as a choreographer and cabinet member of the Orchesis I Dance Company for the past three years, and the President my junior year.
While in college, I have choreographed for several different studios with a variety of dance styles.
Along with this, my internship with Professional Dance Network (PDN), in Mission Viejo, CA has allowed me to work alongside some of the most influential dance names in the U.S., as well as the opportunity to dance on Main Street in Disneyland this October.
My mission is to motivate and build confidence and self-determination while sharing my passion for dance with others.
As I will be graduating in December, High Temperature Dance Academy will be sharing a sneak peek this July of what’s to come of its grand opening in the summer of 2018.
I can’t wait to meet everyone and start dancing - so stay tuned for our summer 2017 summer camp and private lesson dates!.
