Jádro týmu se začalo budovat někdy kolem roku 2004 ještě pod hlavičkou pražského velkoklubu Tatranu Střešovice..
Především ekonomická situace tomu chtěla, že v létě roku 2006 se ženská sekce Tatranu odtrhla a nadcházející sezónu zahájila pod hlavičkou jiného klubu – Děkanka Praha.
Následovalo období tříleté vlády českému ženskému florbalu, korunované medailovým úspěchem na Poháru mistrů ve Finsku v lednu 2008..
Vedení Děkanky se však rozhodlo dále nepodporovat florbal na takové úrovni a tak na jaře roku 2009 spatřil světlo světa „nový“ český florbalový klub Tigers SJM..
Ten se pod svým jménem Herbadent Tigers SJM již také zapsal svými úspěchy do povědomí, když v silné konkurenci získal čtvrté vítězství v řadě na Czech Open 2009 a dokázal přivézt z Evropského poháru 2009 bronzovou medaili.
