Established in 2006 by occupational therapist Cassandra Chiesa, Helping Hands has been treating North Queenslanders with conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder for the past 10 years.

Cassandra opened Helping Hands in 2006 after becoming aware of limitations patients had seeing private therapists for upper limb injuries.
At the time there was no other hand therapy clinic operating in the area, and Cassandra had to take the leap of faith that her love and passion for hand therapy would transpire into a successful upper limb clinic.
Since then, we have grown our clinic to include seven therapy staff and three administration staff and have seen many thousands of patients in the community..
