That business, Haxtun T-Shirt & Trophy Shop, started in 2000 as a sideline in the basement of her parents home and grew to match Margo's passion for the creative process.
"I love working with my hands and being creative, so this is the job for me," she says, adding that she started doing arts and crafts with her grandmother Reka Koch as a small child.
"We took drawing lessons and made quilts and all kinds of things.
I've just always been creative and I love doing that kind of thing." She also loves sports.
"So I thought this would be a good way to combine the two.".

She has created shirts for family reunions, senior classes, poker runs and J.

Margo added a new dimension to the business in 2003 with the purchase of an engraving machine that allows her to make trophies and plaques for customers needing awards for recognition.
She orders the components to build whatever theme the customer calls for then cuts the brass plates for the engraving.

In 2010, Margo started doing her business out of her home after her Husband Bob built on to their house.
Since that time, Margo and Bob have purchased a building in Haxtun Colorado on the Highway to include Margo's growing T-Shirt shop and are currently in the process of including a gift emporium.
