The old farmhouse, Built in 1907, still had remnants of her former grander, originally the Martin farm, was used for generations (Martin and Perry family) as a tobacco and lumber producer.

The farm has slowly began to wake up under a full blown restoration which will include the 1800 sq foot farm house, tobacco barns, smoke house and the very first "generator shed" in Wendell NC giving the farm electricity, Not to mention bringing the entire overgrown landscape back to life will a lot of hard work and many dusty days in the company of feathered and furry friends (horses, dwarf Nigerian goats, bunnies, chickens and quail)..
