Detailed description is Saving lives one step at a time We have been awarded Animal Shelter of the year 2011 out of the entire state of Kentucky!!!Our goal is to save as many lives as possible! We have routine Rescue/Transports to relocate animals to other states where they can have the proper medical treatment necessary and be placed in a forever home! We currently offer a low cost spay/neuter assistance program in Harlan County KY! spay/neuter spay/neuter spay/neuter PREVENT A LITTER FIX YOUR CRITTER!!!! WE DO NOT EUTHANIZE JUST FOR FUN, IF WE DO IT, WE HAVE A GOOD REASON FOR IT! OUR EUTHANASIA RATE HAS WENT FROM A HIGH 98% TO A LOW 6.8% IN THE LAST 5 YEARS! We can always use volunteers at the shelter on Saturday's and Sunday's and for rescue/transport days! Please let us know if interested!
