Der Haltepunkt Köln-Lövenich S-Bahn ist ein Haltepunkt der S-Bahn Köln im Kölner Stadtteil Lövenich.Er ist unabhängig von dem knapp einen Streckenkilometer östlich gelegenen Bahnhof Köln-Lövenich, dem ehemaligen Personenbahnhof des Ortes, der heute ein reiner Überholbahnhof ohne Möglichkeit zum Fahrgastwechsel ist.GeschichteZwischen 1839 und 1841 baute die Rheinische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft ihre Stammstrecke vom Bahnhof Cöln Am Thürmchen zum Bahnhof Aachen Rh, am 2.
Juli 1840 wurde die Strecke für den Personenverkehr bis Lövenich eröffnet.Ende der 1990er Jahre begann der Ausbau der Bahnstrecke für den Hochgeschwindigkeitsverkehr und den S-Bahn-Verkehr.

Der neue Haltepunkt Lövenich wurde dabei etwa 50 Meter westlich des ehemaligen Bahnhofs auf Höhe der Überquerung der Landstraße 213 eingerichtet.LageDer Haltepunkt befindet sich in verkehrsgünstiger Lage zwischen den beiden Kölner Stadtteilen Lövenich im Norden und Weiden im Süden.
