Detailed description is The Gujarat State Billiards Association (GSBA) is the nodal body managing and promoting cue sports such as billiards, snooker and pool in Gujarat, India.
Established almost around four decades ago GSBA has been playing a pivotal role by promoting cue sports and all the players in the state.
Apart from organising state championships every year, GSBA has organised Indian National Snooker and Billiards Championship in 1978 and thereafter in 2002.
The national championship of 2002 were adjudged "The best Nationals ever" by not only the President of BSFI (Billiards & Snooker Federation of India) but also by many officials of the federation, top players and officials of various state associations.
In 2005 GSBA joined hands with world champion Padmashri Geet Sethi and organised a unique format of snooker-billiards-pool all India championship christened as the Reliance National Cue Masters League.
The top players of India showcased their prowess in the event.
GSBA has organised the Asian Qualifying Camp in 2012 for selecting the top players to represent India at the Billiards and Snooker Asian Championships..
