(b) diverse and cohesive representing nations such as Ghana, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Somalia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Morocco, South Africa, Egypt, Sierra Leone, Congo, Sudan, Liberia, Zambia, Guinea, Burundi, Eritrea, Uganda as well as Australia, Pacific Islands, Vietnam and India..

(a) promote the understanding of the unique African culture and ethnic heritage..

(b) operate as an entity which will represent African students in putting forward their opinions and grievances to the Student Representative Council (SRC) at Griffith University.

(d) provide opportunities by serving as a learning environment for those interested in African culture and issues in order to advance multicultural education, equity and social justice..
