• The photography darkroom has 10 enlargers, a separate lighting studio (shared with the Digital Photo courses), for learning traditional black-and-white photography..

• The ceramic and sculpture area has 8 electric potters’ wheels, a traditional kick wheel and 3 unique built in electric wheels.

Our size lets us devote more time to each individual growing art professional, pushing them to discover deeper levels than do many undergraduate programs.
Most classes are closed at 15 maximum, and many are nearer to 10-12.
Our full-time faculty have expertise in diverse areas of art-making and thinking: high craft, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, welding, painting, drawing, performance art, and particular areas of art history, theory and criticism; adjuncts provide professional instruction in art education, art history, and video/digital art.

She is a member of the International Sculpture Center, Tri-State Sculptors and the Society of North American Goldsmiths..

Brittany’s sculptural works are large-scale constructions in steel, wood and mixed materials.
She uses color in combination with geometric and curvilinear elements, emphasized points of tension and idiosyncratic joints to create forms which abstractly suggest function, or engage imbalance and gravity.
In contrast to their rigid material, these objects appear surprisingly delicate and fluid, like line drawings in space.
