College for Women, Samanabad, Lahore, is one of the oldest female institutions of the Punjab.
It was founded in 1957 at Gulberg as an Intermediate College and was shifted to Samanabad in 1969.
Later on it was upgraded to graduate level in 1971..

The institution then elevated itself as a post-graduate college due to the fact that in 2008 M.A.
English Classes began.
The college now offers admissions at Intermediate, Degree and Post Graduate levels.
Admissions in computer science are also offered at Intermediate and Degree level.
