Detailed description is The Boys Hr.Sec.school Baramulla is one the premier institute of quality education not only of Baramulla town but the whole area of North Kashmir.Established in 1970, it has provided top quality education to the students of the area.
Boys higher secondary school Baramulla is located in the heart of the Baramulla town.The school has an area of 11378.713 sq.meters in front of the deputy commissioners office close to the bank of the River JHELUM.The existing main building was functioning as Degree college of Baramulla town Before 1970..

The college was then shifted to KHAWAJABAGH Baramulla and B.H.S.S.
was established in this building which was previously functioning in now called BOYS HIGH SCHOOL DEWANBAGH, Baramulla.The school is comprised of separate blocks for medical, non-medical, commerce, arts & secondary blocks for 9th & 10th classes.There is also a newly constructed laboratory block for conduct of practicals.The school also provides boarding facilities to the students coming from remote areas within the campus.For this purpose, a two storeyed hostel building has been serving for this purpose for more than a decade .
The school has a big library with about 30000 books for academic development of the students and dedicated staff covering all streams, subjects & courses..
