We first hit the scene in 2009 with the purpose of building the best diaphragm calls available.
Since then, Gooserbat has won six consecutive Oklahoma state calling titles (2010-2015), as well as other calling contests across the region.
We have also won the chess match with a few Ol' Gobblers..

The big reason behind starting Gooserbat was being unable to find calls that would satisfy me.
I felt the consistency was terrible from one call to another.
Another thing I didn't like was the fact that most high reed count calls took too much air to blow.
So after over a year of consideration and some brain storming or brain burning, my wife Darla and I set out to change all of that.
First, with the help of some valued friends I perfected our three original calls (Double Bit, Hillbilly, and Classic Hen).
Then, in January of 2009 I launched Gooserbat Game Calls.
Now today here we are.
Our calls are known for being sensitive and with a stretch tolerance of +/- .001 they are very consistent..

We are located in the small community of Colcord which is in the flint hills of the Oklahoma Ozarks.
