Gold Coast Lost And Found Pets,Gold Coast,QLD,Australia

Gold-coast,

New-south-wales,Australia - 4214

Detailed description is Gold Coast Lost and Found Pets are here to help reunite missing and found pets (Est 2011) When your Pet first goes missing, please do the following..
.
* Please MESSAGE / INBOX your LOST/FOUND pet notice including photo and detailed information.
Please include if your pet is wearing a collar (describe the collar), microchipped (or not), desexed or intact and any distinguishing personality features or markings.
.
.
* WHEN SEARCHING LOST AND FOUND NOTICES --> A recent lost dog, a "Jack Russell/Fox Terrier cross" was matched to a found notice for a "Chihuahua" (luckily there was a photo).
Follow up notices that are *similar* to your dog, and also to go to the pound IN PERSON in case breed is recorded differently there.
Some notices may describe a found dog only by "small, medium, large", rather than a breed..
.
* Make sure their Registration and Microchip information is up to date - All dogs on the Gold Coast must be registered ! (cats no longer need to be registered) It's VERY important to ensure the microchip details are up2date.
If no microchip, I would strongly advise that you put this at the top of your TO DO list when the pet is returned to you.
.

FREE COLOUR FLYERS by Snap Printing available ====> http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=410755848940477&set=a.160401530642578.42160.142585825757482&type=1.
.
* PLACE A LOST OR FOUND PET NOTICE IN THE NEWSPAPER -- http://www.goldcoast.com.au/classifieds/gold-coast.html.
.
* Ask neighbours to check in and around their yard (and on their roof as some cats have be known to become 'stuck' on a roof).
.
* Walk around your neighbourhood, looking and asking if anyone has seen your pet (it's advised that you be holding up your lost pet flyer so people will know you are not a salesperson thus will be more receptive).
.
* Place Lost ads in the local and national news papers in your area (if you have the budget), also place online ads with all the Lost and Found sites in your area.
.
.
.
* Check out online classified sites such as Gumtree ( http://goldcoast.gumtree.com.au ) and Locanto ( http://goldcoast.locanto.com.au/Pets/T/ ) in case your pet is listed found or for sale.
Try to find other online classified sites where your pet possibly could be listed found or for sale.
.
.
* If your pet is NOT microchipped, please check all the local shelters and rescues as your pet (if it has passed a temperament test) may possibly be out on foster until a new home can be found for it.
This is a vitally important reason to make sure you microchip your pets because shelters/rescues will only re-home if there is no microchip and/or the details are out-of-date (especially phone numbers are disconnected).
.
.
.

.

.
.
.
