On a Friday night in 1996 after a church choir rehearsal a few members of Unity Fellowship of Christ (U.F.C.C.) felt the need to go feed the homeless people in the area with the food left over from their meal.
That was the start of an idea that grew to become the Street L.I.F.E.
Ministry and it continues to this day.
In September of 2006 Guidance Church (GO Team) started helping U.F.C.C.
along with other churches, organizations and individuals.
The GO Team also goes downtown on the last Thursday of the month during the day to hand out meals and give clothing.
