He started composing and arranging at a young age and since 2015 his pieces are published by Tower Editions, the foundation of which he is a boardmember.
Pieces written by him are: Dante’s Descent, Those Gazing Eyes, Saint Lambert, Soaring the Sky and Fanfare de Angelis.
In his composing he searches for a new sound with uncommon scales, cluster harmonies, and micro tonality, without losing the audience in complexity..

He is currently conducting De Harmonie Akkrum, CMV Jeduthun Oldemarkt, De Bazuin Ureterp and Flevo Brass.

After a studying IT I studied Musicology at Utrecht University where I specialized in French polyphonic music from the fourteenth century.

My affinity for the brass band comes from playing tenor horn and euphonium in a brass band, most recently with Soli Brass Leeuwarden.
Somewhere around my 14th I started to compose, however only stuff for orchestra and chamber music.
