Detailed description is Courtesoupe is a pretty Gite set in the tranquil french countryside of the Vienne.
The cottage is set on over an acre of land along with its adjoining neighbour.
It has been newly renovated to a high standard whilst keeping its original character and features.
It offers you modern, comfortable living in a beautiful countryside setting.
The courtyard garden is south facing so you enjoy all day sun then walk through the back door into the cool, spacious open plan kitchen and living area.
Feel free to walk through our gardens to access back lanes and beautiful walks.
A short drive away is the market town of L'isle Jourdain with the huge Vienne river running through, it offers supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, post office, an open air swimming pool (summer months) stunning viaduct with bungee jumping at the weekends! Lac St Pardoux is 50 min drive, it has 3 sandy beaches with water activities etc and the Val de Vienne race circuit is approx 30 minutes away with a huge variety of racing from endurance to super bikes to Ferraris.

Bedroom 2 with 1 double bed (a second double bed can be put in room if, for example, children prefer to sleep separately - state a preference on enquiry).

Kitchen: Brand new fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge (a freezer is available in out buildings) All necessary kitchen equipment for everyday cooking.

There are many swimming/beach lakes in the area, the nearest within 20 mins drive and the very large Lac St Pardoux is 50 mins drive through beautiful countryside with a choice of 3 sandy beaches, water slides, water sports etc.
La Rochelle, Ile de Re etc approx 2hr away.
There is an outdoor pool in L'isle Jourdain open in the summer months and a publice indoor and outdoor poole approx 20 mins away at St Junien..

We are within easy distance of a number of great fishing lakes, the closest of which is approx 10 mins away, a beautiful lake in St Barbant.
It is a public lake and licenses are available locally and reasonably.

We are a short distance from the lake region of the Limousin, there are a number of equestrian establishments in the area, fishing, golf, cycling and walking are all popular activities and recommendations can be given on request..
