General Automotive Servicenter first opened it's doors in 1979.
General Automotive Servicenter started as a "family business".
This family business had three owners, Howard Lindsey, Cecil Schawartzbeck and Van Randle.
While it was not a traditional "family business" in that the three owners were not immediate family members, however the concept and values of "family" was always present.
Through the years the business has grown into a traditional "family business" with Howard Lindsey and his wife Danielle purchasing the business from his partners and bringing in his two sons John Lindsey and Jamie Lindsey to assist in the day to day operations of the business.
Danielle works off site and maintains the financial operations of the business.

In addition to the concept of "family", this business began with the concept of providing quality service to a customer at a more economical price.
In the beginning, all three original owners worked at a dealer and all agreed that the customers could have received better service in addition to more cost effective repairs.
