Köyümüz Antalya ili Gazipaşa ilçesine bağlı bir köydür.
Alan,Merkez,Teknecik, Örtübükü, Sazak, Sümbüller ve Çakallar mahallelerinden oluşmakta olup 2009 sonu nüfus sonuçlarına göre köy nüfusu 719 dir.
Gazipaşa ilçemize 21 Antalya il merkezine 210 km.dir.
Faal olan 6 cami ve bir okulumuz vardır.
Köyümüzde okumaya büyük önem verilir ve çeşitli kamu kurumlarında çalışan çok sayıda memurumuz vardır.Köyümüzde seracılık, çilekçilik, hayvancılık ve arıcılık gelişmiştir.
Yayla balımız ve püren balımız meşhurdur.
Ayrıca son yıllarda meyveciliğe ilgi artmaktadır..

TARİHİMİZ .
.
Atalarımız 1610 lu yıllarda orta asyadan Anadoluya gelen Türklerden olup göçebe bir hayat sürüyorlardı.Hayvancılıkla uğraştıkları için yaylacılık geleneği hakimdi.Köy halkından üç kardeş Mısır'a medrese eğitimi almaya gider.Tarihini öğrenemediğimiz bir zamanda köy halkı yaylaya göçtüğü zaman işleri tamamlamak için köyde kalan insanlar salgın bir hasalığa yakalanır ve büyük çoğunluğu vefat eder.
Yaylada bulunan köylülerin bir kısmı hastalığa yakalanmamak için veya bilemediğimiz bir nedenden dolayı Tarsus a göçer.Mısır'a giden kardeşler,medrese eğitimlerini tamamlayıp köye geri geldiklerinde köylüyü bulamazlar ve Köyün Tarsus'a göçtüğü haberini alırlar.Bu üç kardeşten Mehmet Efendi(Arap Işık) Komşu köylerden bir kızla evlenir ve buraya yerleşir.Alan mahallesinden Teknecik mahallesine kadar Olan herkesin Arap Işık(Mehmet Efendi)ın torunu olduğu bilgisine ulaştık.Balca yaylasında bulunan bir çok mezarın bilinenler hariç çok eskiye dayandığı sanılıyor.Tarsus Göçük Köyü ile olan ile kopan iletişim günümüzde tekrar kurulmuş ve köyümüzde yapılan şenliklere Tarsus Göçük köyünde bulunan akrabalarımızda katılmışlardır.Köyümüz Osmanlı döneminde çok şehit vermiştir.
Bu döneminde askere giden 80 kişiden sadece 3 tanesi geriye döner.Diğerlerinden haber alınamamış şehit olduğu veya esaret altında hayatını kaybettiği sanılmaktadır...
