Through her years of intense research and her learning about the history and heritage of her region, she acquired the knowledge of the Records and repositories for the Gaspe Peninsula, within the region and around the world..
Born and raised in the Gaspe Basin area of an Anglophone family, she was schooled in French throughout her youth, which now gives her the privilege of working in both English and French.
Surrounded by people and relatives since her youth who strongly believed in knowing their Ancestors and their Heritage, she was encouraged and guided from a very young age to learn and promote the heritage and the history of her family and region.
