Gary became proficient in medium format chemical darkroom techniques through the 1990s but in the early 2000s was one of the first photographers in London to switch to professional digital with the Canon 10D. He currently uses Canon 5D3 with L series lenses, Sony A7r, Fuji X100s & Canon EOS M as his main ‘location’ kit but sometimes hires medium format film panoramic cameras for commissioned shoots.
