Detailed description is Galerie in der Künstlersiedlung Weißenseifen, innerhalb des Skulpturengartens des Symposion Weißenseifen.

Die Galerie am Pi verdankt ihre Entstehung dem Zeichner, Maler und Bildhauer Albrecht Klauer-Simonis (1918 – 2002).
Sie ist aus der Schenkung eines Gebäudes der Firma „Streiff“ an das Symposion Weißenseifen hervorgegangen.
Ihre Einweihung als Galerie erhielt die Werkhalle - rustikal ausgestattet mit einem Kamin und selbst verlegtem Stirnholzfußboden – 1988 zur Ausstellung „Zeichnungen 88“ anlässlich seines 70.

Gemessen an seinen handwerklich sorgfältig ausgeführten Arbeiten können sowohl gegenständlich figurative Werke als auch gegenstandslose, konkrete Malereien und Skulpturen hier betrachtet und erworben werden..

Das Symposion Weißenseifen nutzt die Räume der Galerie am Pi in vier Sommerwochen für Zeichenunterricht, Konzerte und als Aufenthaltsraum.
Am Wochenende des ersten Advent findet seit fast 20 Jahren eine jährlich wiederkehrende Ausstellung von Symposionsteilnehmerinnen und -teilnehmern, genannt „Streusalz zum Advent“, statt.
Wechselnde Präsentationen des Lebenswerkes von Albrecht Klauer-Simonis und andere Ausstellungen können in den übrigen Wochen einen Besuch in der Künstlersiedlung bereichern..

Nach dem Vorbild einer ProduzentInnen-Galerie sind Ausstellungen mit uns zu vereinbaren, d.h.
Künstlerinnen und Künstler vereinbaren mit uns einen Termin, schlagen Ausstellungsthema und die Art der Präsentation vor und machen selbsttätig eigene Werbung.
Wir bieten die Räumlichkeiten und halten die unten angegebenen Öffnungszeiten ein.
Zur Hilfestellung kann der Verteiler des Symposions und eine entsprechende Beratung erfolgen..

Als Ausstellungsraum stehen ca.
120 qm zur Verfügung.
Die umfassende Wandfläche beträgt 62,5 qm.
Die Wände sind mit Rauhfasertapete bekleidet und tragen einen kühlen rosafarbenen Anstrich.
Eine Farbwahl, die, nach der Meinung des Malers AKS und den Empfehlungen des Lin Yun, gut für Galerieräume – besonders im Grünen – geeignet ist (vgl.: Sarah Rossbach u.

Sechs herunterklappbare Zwischenwände halten in Kojen zusätzich insgesamt 54 qm bereit und sind in der Farbe hellgelb grundiert..
