Our soft sculpture cats look so real, even the mice look twice.
My grandmother had a realistic looking cloth tabby cat which sat next to her fire place for many years.
Gabby said it scared off the mice from nesting in her old farm house.
She told me the story of how she cut out the printed cat from a flour sack, hand stitched it together and stuffed it with sawdust.
The printed logo on the base of the tabby said Arnold Print Works, North Adams, Massachusetts, 1896.
