Detailed description is FVSU Vet Tech program houses a wide variety of animals, and by adopting our animals it allows for another animal to come through our program to be vetted.
Fort Valley State University proudly offers two four year programs for students interested in Veterinary Technology, including a Bachelor of Science program and a pre-Veterinary Medicine program for those looking to prepare to pursue life as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
As such we house a wide variety of animals that help our students prepare for their professional life.
Many of these animals are available for adoption! Advantages of adopting our animals include knowing that they've been well and thoroughly cared for by our attentive staff and students, and each successful adoption also allows us to bring another animal into our facility that may be in need of our attention and care..
