Born in Hopkinsville, KY but raised in the small but wonderful fishing village of Wanchese North Carolina, and currently live and work here on the outer banks.
I'm a self taught artist local to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Painting to me is a new adventure everyday, and I am constantly learning new things.
I never know what is going to inspire me to create a new work of art, be it something in nature or a picture that a friend gives me.
I did not start out doing this as a job or secondary income but since starting just over a year ago, between my husband and other family members constant encouragement and support I have turned what use to be a hobby into a growing business.
I don't have a certain style other than I refuse to use stencils of any kind to help with my paintings.
Most of the time when not fulfilling an order I enjoy doing landscape scene style paintings.
I have also had quite a few orders for baby announcements which are 100% custom to each new baby .
I give the parents a basic outline they give me the theme and colors they would like with all the measurements ,time of birth and weight and I create for them a one of a kind gift.
