The shelter is located in Washington, GA--about forty miles east of Athens on highway 78.
The shelter is open Tuesday - Friday 9 a.m until 2 p.m.
Then on Saturday 9a.m to 12p.m.
Arrangements can be made at other times for adoptions or rescues through the shelter..

The shelter is in need of the following items to help care for the animals: Vaccines- Dog and Cat, Blankets, Beds- any type, Canned cat and dog food, including puppies/kittens Dry dog and Cat food, including puppies/kittens Towels, Bleach, Laundry detergent, Cleaning supplies, Paper towels, Dog Houses, Dog/Cat crates-any size-any type, Newspaper, Bowls, Leashes and collars, Thank you all for any help you can give.

The Animal Angel fund is designed to help animals with medical problems that, without your help, the shelter could not financially afford to pay for.
This fund provides medical help to multiple animals at the shelter.
