Detailed description is Set in a 45 acre estate amidst rolling hills, the grounds of this 3 star traditional 19th century country house hotel include beautiful woodlands and extend down to a private stretch of the River Nith.
The hotel’s Whistle Restaurant takes its name from a Robert Burns poem and is open daily for breakfast and dinner when guests are served excellent locally sourced cuisine to reflect the seasons.
Afternoon tea can be taken each day and bar snacks are available from Monday to Saturday.

Guests can soak up the atmosphere of the magnificent paneled entrance hall, elegant staircase and spacious lounge, enjoy a ‘wee dram’ in the comfortable bar or try their hand at snooker on the full size table.
