Detailed description is Curso sobre a evolução da fotografia documental, desde iniciativas pré-documentais até ser inscrita como prática artística contemporânea.
O curso apresentará o desenvolvimento da prática da fotografia documental, desde iniciativas pré-documentais até a sua expansão temática, estética e estatutária ao ser inscrita na prática artística contemporânea.
Diversos trabalhos fotográficos serão discutidos, abordando questões relativas às fronteiras entre a perspectiva documental e a fotojornalística, e ressaltando a consolidação da relação entre documento e arte.
Os encontros serão marcados por aulas teóricas com base em textos de referência e projeções de imagens que ajudarão a traçar um breve panorama da produção documental.
A última aula é opcional, reservada à leitura dos portfólios dos alunos interessados..
