About the Teacher: Bev is a professional pet portrait artist and fine artist, and has been creating art for over 25 years.
She previously taught art to children in Richmond, Virginia before relocating to Houghton where her husband John is an art professor.
Bev has created mural work in the area as well as conducted art classes for Houghton Academy's Winterim Program..

About Fine Art Lessons: Bev is currently holding classes for grades 1-12 and also teaches adults in a dedicated studio in her home, just off the Houghton College campus.
Classes for kids are conducted after school.
Adult classes can be arranged in the morning or evening.
Students will learn basic skills to advanced techniques, in a variety of media including drawing, pastels, and painting in oil, acrylic and watercolor, in a small group setting.
Students will have the opportunity to have their work featured in an exclusive end-of-year exhibition in the Houghton College chapel gallery.
