Detailed description is The FIG Co-op operates an organic food box system at Ourimbah, on the Central Coast of NSW, on Monday afternoons.

FIG operates a chemical-free food box system which co-op members pay for one week in advance.
Most of the produce is Certified Organic or Biodynamic, with some guaranteed chemical free produce as well.
Our priority is to support the local farmers however not all produce is grown locally - yet! Some weeks we can supply 100% of local produce, other times it's less..

The co-op is run by volunteers comprising of a management committee and general members, who share in the setting up and packing away, ordering, weighing & bagging up of vegies, cashier assistant, and lots of little jobs inbetween.
We have a membership fee structure which includes a one-off joining fee and an annual fee July-June and that amount depends on the amount of volunteering you can do.

We conduct fortnightly bulk orders for those who juice, make smoothies or want larger quantities of potatoes, for example, and an extras table is set up where honey and dry goods etc are available, along with additional fresh produce for members to purchase.
