Detailed description is Grass-finished beef, naturally raised non-GMO pork, certified organic potatoes, vegetables, fruit and more! Our farm is located a few miles south of the Canadian border, close to the Columbia River, in Northeast Washington State.
Historically, farming, logging, and mining were the main employment in this area.
However, along with many other rural areas, we've seen the local community here atrophy over the years, with many of the "traditional" jobs either taken away or as in farming's case, unable to keep up with big scale commercial farms.

Our hope is that by raising beef and other food in a way that diverts from the current production model, we can share wonderful tasting, high quality, healthy food that can help our community by not only contributing great food, but by modeling a sustainable, working small farm, and by building lasting relationships..

One of our great passions is FOOD! Not just any food either, but rich, flavorful, healthy, make your body feel good, food! So much of what is mass produced and sold at the store today not only isn't healthy, it just doesn't compare with the flavor of home grown food.
My eyes were opened to this when I bit in to a real home grown peach fresh off the tree for the first time.
Being so used to the large store bought peaches that are mostly water, I realized I had been cheated all those years ...the flavor of that homegrown peach was totally different and so much better! Sadly, this is the story with most food.
Our hope is to bring to you, great food, that is rich in flavor and free of all the shortcuts that diminish much of the products that fill grocery stores today..

We raise is Angus and Angus cross cattle because they have all of the qualities needed to produce the best meat possible in a sustainable way.
Angus are good-natured, adapt well to varying weather conditions, and gain well on grass alone.
These qualities give us and our customers well marbled, tender, and of course - flavorful meat..

Our cattle live happy, healthy lives, eating green grass and alfalfa each and everyday.
They also have fresh creek water and free choice minerals available to them.
One of the main contributors to "tough" meat is stressful conditions.
We strive to give our cattle zero-stress lives, providing them with everything they need and more.
We rotate them to a different section of pasture two-three times per week, never allowing them back on that section until the grass has regrown.
We chose to rotationally graze our animals as part of a sustainable farming model.
By frequently rotating the sections of pasture our cattle graze, we are preventing the ground from being over-used and increasing the soil and forage quality..
