The mission of Firebird: Russian School of the Central Coast is to teach Russian language and culture to Russian families, mixed families and all those who are interested in learning more about this fascinating land and its people and its culture.
Our vision is to create the first Russian cultural and educational center on the Central Coast open to everybody.

Firebird is a warm, open place free from politics, creeds and doctrines where we celebrate the rich Russian cultural heritage, where children, students and parents can make friends and simply have a good time and where anyone interested in Russian culture and the language is welcome.
We are passionate about promoting multilingualism and multiculturalism.

Firefird offers the following courses: .

• Russian for Beginners (open to all ages): Russian for students with little or no previous knowledge of Russian..

• Russian for Children who already speak some Russian..

• Russian Literature and Theater for Children who already speak some Russian..

• Russian Music / Art (open to all ages).

All classes are conducted in the Russian language with the exception of Russian for Beginners, where both English and Russian are used.
