* things purchased within last 3 years (unless exceptional or vintage).

HOW WE WORK – The Basics.

WE SELL ON YOUR BEHALF.

We do not buy over the counter.
You receive payment once an item has sold..

DROP-OFF’S.
Should be delivered in a bag, box or container you do not need returned to you.
Drop-off’s accepted any day of the week during opening hours.
We do not review your goods upon drop-off..

ITEMS ARE SORTED BY US.
by the end of the day of drop-off Mon-Fri, and within 1-2 days Sat-Sun, generally speaking..

ANYTHING WE DO NOT TAKE: (UNACCEPTED ITEMS).
must be collected within one week of drop-off date.
After this time, these items become the property of Finders Keepers, handled and disposed of at their sole discretion.
Alternatively, you can opt to have them forwarded to charity automatically on your behalf.
You will not be notified of things that are not accepted.
You will only hear from us again if things are accepted from your lot..

are set by Finders Keepers.
However, you are encouraged to bring to our attention any valuable and/or luxury pieces in your lot (ie.

the prices set, and amount you’ll receive if they sell at full price.
We’ll also include the dates your items will be reduced/expiry for you to diarise if you wish..

After a total of 6 weeks, unsold items are reduced by 50%.
Two weeks later (after a total of eight weeks) unsold items become the property of Finders Keepers, sold/disposed of at their sole discretion..

RECLAIMING YOUR ITEMS.
is no trouble at all.
However, it is entirely the seller’s responsibility to locate any items they wish to reclaim on the shop-floor themselves, and then have signed out by Finders Keepers staff.
Sellers may withdraw unsold items any time before the eight week mark.
Sellers are encouraged to note the reduction/expiry dates included in their email as Finders Keepers will not notify or remind them again of these dates unless they are further enquired about.

40% (after GST) of the price paid for an item, (provided it has not expired).
Payment (for goods sold previous month) can be claimed anytime after the 7th of the following month.
Payment is made via cheque which requires collection from store within 6 months of issue date (after-which time payment can no longer be claimed by seller).
In special circumstances such as out of town sellers, we may be able to offer bank account as a payment option.
