Un concours national de chanson francophone : 49 participants en provenance de partout au Québec et d’ailleurs, répartis en quatre catégories (Interprète 7 à 12 ans, Interprète 13 à 17 ans, Interprète 18 ans et plus, Auteur-compositeur-interprète de 15 ans et plus).
Les prestations des participants se déroulent sur quatre soirs de demi-finales après lesquels trois coups de cœur sont nommés dans la catégorie Interprète 7 à 12 ans et douze finalistes sont désignés dans les autres catégories.
Ces derniers se produisent à la grande finale où seulement trois d’entres eux sont couronnés lauréats de leur catégorie..

Des formations professionnelles: Dans le cadre de leur séjour à Saint-Ambroise, les participants ont l’opportunité d’assister à des formations artistiques offertes par des professionnels du milieu portant sur différents thèmes.
