Detailed description is This is a tribute page to Felt HIgh School which was part of Olympus High.

James Felt, Principal and Headmaster This is an ode to Felt High School which was started in the mid to late1970's as part of Olympus High School..
.
Mr.
James Felt taught history at Olympus.
Because of overcrowding in the school, portable classrooms were brought in.
Mr.
Felt's class was relocated into one of the portables.
Around the same time, Olympus was getting a swimming pool built on near the portable buildings and in the winter, water from rain and melting snow didn't drain properly which made the portable classrooms sitting like islands.
The school had to make temporary raised walkways so that the students could get to class without having to wade through the water.
The intercom and communications between the portables and the school often didn't work..

It seemed as though they were in their own high school and hence Felt High School was born.
It continued on long after the construction was done and the raised walkways were removed.
FHS even had their own banner in the gym along with the banners from the other high schools in the district..

Mr.
Felt would sometimes wear costumes as part of his lessens to illustrate what was being taught that day..

Everyday in the corner of the chalkboard he wrote the "Sad But True Department" with a different saying each day..

At the end of the school year, he would have a graduation ceremony and hand out Felt High School diplomas to the students.
