For the past year I have been focusing on my photography and artwork, which I have come to call "Photo-Graphic" because it combines my photography and artwork to produce what some call "stunning, thought-provoking, and inspiring" images. I produced these totally for myself (mostly as a stress reliever) and although I shared them with my Facebook and Flickr friends I never had imagined using these images for any particular Cause or Event. However, after witnessing the aftermath in Haiti I could not hold back my emotions any longer and wanted to help in some way. (On Jan. 12th a powerful 7.0 quake hit the impoverished nation of Haiti. This was followed more than 30+ strong aftershocks. There has been widespread major damage and a loss of life estimated to be between 45,000 to 50,000. There are projections of 2-3M without shelter.) By purchasing FC3 HAITI Artwork and Photographs from my online albums and spreading the word to your family and friends and colleagues YOU are helping the relief effort in Haiti because 100% of the proceeds will be donated for the redesigning and rebuilding of this beautiful country. FC3 HAITI has teamed up with Architecture for Humanity which is a nonprofit design services firm founded in 1999. By tapping a network of more than 40,000 professionals willing to lend time and expertise to help those who would not otherwise be able to afford their services, they bring design, construction and development services where they are most critically needed. "Architecture for Humanity" was selected because of their long-term vision for Haiti which includes exploring specific opportunities for rebuilding projects as well as long term planning. In the first four days Architecture for Humanity has raised over $45,000 in individual giving and have pledges from a number of companies.
