Housed within The Guiding Light Church, The Family Care Center was organized in 1992 as a one-program service, Adult Day Care, and in 1998, it was incorporated and received its 501(c)3 designation.
Since that time, the center has grown to include four basic program service areas: Family Care Academy (child development program), Adult Day Care, After School and Extended Day Care, and Summer Camp.
We even have a volunteer service through Senior & Family Matters which offer support to the Adult Day Care.
