Who am I ? That alone could be a blog post or a book.
Just like our Lords great "I Am" statements in the Gospel of John, He Jesus Christ defines clearly who He is and who He is to us.
God in Exodus 3:14 defined Himself perfectly in "I AM Who I AM." Well basing these who am I's, I can only go to one place.
I am a sinner.
I am a sinner who by Gods Grace alone I was pulled out of darkness and brought into the light.

He took my life and a total transformation happened almost instantly and now I am on my walk in Sanctification.
I am still a sinner, but a sinner who has something to say, a sinner who has been given a new life who is born again and has the Gospel of Christ to share with anyone who will listen.
I am a sinner who has the Holy Spirit within them and now He that is in me is fragile and easily offeneded by my sin, and in that helps me on my walk of sactification.
For what I loved, I know hate, and what I hated I now love.

I am of a Reformed doctrine in that it is not 50/50 between God and I , HE called me as He can call you.
I had nothing to do with this as it was all Him.

So other than a sinner which we all are, I am a veteran.
I was with the 1/75th Ranger Regt.
I went on after than as a private military contractor.
I was a Operational medic.
I spent almost 2 decades doing this, hurt badly 5 years ago but I do not want to dwell on that as I can post my testimony elsewhere.

I rather talk about 3 years ago after thats when my life truly started.
I had always had religion.
Grew up Lutheran and then Baptist.
I truly did not have Christ as my Savior though.
I was just going through the motions.
Till He called me and broke me to a crying heap and then I was alive and in the light for the first time.
I was called to be a Pastor and that is something that I never could grasp in the beginning but now after trying to run from it (I lost) , I embrace the calling fully.
I have a B.A in Pastoral Ministry and my M.Div in Expository Preaching.
I pastor a wonderful church in Southern Colorado .
I picked a couple verses to live my life by and it helps me daily on my walk..
Matthew 7:13-14.
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it..
This helps me greatly on my walk in faith, and trust me if you veer from that narrow path you will find out quick.
Just as we discipline and try to keep our children straight.
God will do the same for His children.
For my Pastoral ministry I base it one one thing.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I live it by the Apostle Pauls words.

I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God..
That is how I view the ministry I was called too.
I will not have fancy speeches or promises of a better life, but I can promise you that the words I speak will be biblical and Christ centered.
If He calls you into His flock, the best life now will be that you are now in His light.
It doesn't make it easy in fact it may be a harder life but this short time here is triumphed by our eternity with Christ.
