As a licensed physical therapist since 1994 and a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, I have witnessed firsthand the debilitating effects of chronic diseases.
I have treated countless patients with life-changing effects of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, lung disease, vascular disease, and cancer.
I have watched as these patients struggle to simply get dressed or walk to the bathroom.
Unfortunately, many of these conditions are preventable.
Current research has demonstrated the protective effects of regular exercise and maintaining a healthy body weight.
Even chronic back pain is often preventable and treatable with an intelligent approach to strength and flexibility training.
I am eager to expand my professional services into the area of wellness and prevention (through fitness training) while I continue to care for those who cannot escape the effects of chronic disease (as a physical therapist).
I am qualified to help you achieve your fitness goals whether they be for weight loss, body sculpting/toning, or just plain good health!.

Elite athletes possess superior physical abilities which enable them to attain the highest levels of sports performance.
While the most elite have the added benefit of having chosen the right parents, every athlete (at any level) has the potential to improve their athleticism by building a strong foundation of core strength, power, balance, coordination, and flexibility.
Improving these basic elements of fitness will yield remarkable improvements in athletic prowess, speed, agility, and ultimate performance.
For the young athlete, the nervous system is "plastic" until the teenage years.
This means that early, proper training in basic movement patterns and exercise common to all sports will allow their bodies to "learn" how to move better and more efficiently.
Translation: a better athlete! For the more mature athlete, athletic performance is directly correlated to strength, power, balance, flexibility, coordination, speed, agility, etc.
