Detailed description is The ECCL was founded in 1948 with the purpose of conserving wildlife and improving hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities in Erie County.
We are located at 815 Mason Road, east of Route 250.
The club sponsors several hunters education courses throughout the year and sponsors a junior rifle program to educate the younger members of the community about safety and the responsibilities involved with firearm ownership..

We also host events in support of the Wounded Warrior Project, the Stein Hospice, and the "M1 for Vets" organization.
In addition, ECCL supports the Back to the Wild program (a wildlife rehab center in Castalia, Ohio), the Erie County 4-H program, and the Sandusky Register’s education program..

Facilities include trap and skeet fields; archery range; 25 yard pistol range; and 50, 100, 200, and 300 yard rifle ranges..

Trap and skeet is open to the public on Sunday from 12 - 4 PM, Tuesday evenings from 6 - 9 PM, and Fridays from 10 AM to 2 PM..
