More recently, I’ve decided to purposely follow my passions and change the direction of my communications and marketing career to focus on industries that get my juices flowing, namely food, permaculture and sustainability.
To that end, I’m taking a big leap and will enrol to undertake a Master in Food Culture, Communication and Marketing at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy in 2019.

My name is Jo Thierfelder.
I am mum to two young boys and a communications consultant with my own business, Finesse Communications.
Like many women my age, I am a million other things too.
I started in journalism but have spent my career working in corporate communications and marketing, cultivating an expertise in the property, environment and sustainability sectors.
