Detailed description is It's all about Childlike Wonder!.
We're a group of people who believe in the power of young folks, and believe that if anybody has the power to change the world it’s our youth! We are: teachers, DJs, dancers, emcees, and social activists, but most of all, we are people who were lucky enough to have the teachers, mentors, resources, and support system to help us succeed.
We want to share that knowledge, the lessons, and the love that was shown to us by our greatest teachers.
We want to pay that forward, and empower young people to find their voice, and the power that lies within them..

Camp Eayikes is a youth empowerment camp aimed at connecting with and mentoring youth in Southern California.
We believe that the arts are a powerful platform for confidence and character-building, so we will be teaching youth creative arts such as: dance, djing, improv/acting, and photography, with a culminating showcase for the community.
Youth will also learn and become exposed to different ways of thinking, life, and possibilities in our LifeShops.
They will learn about: finding your own cause, wellness, foods of the world, and yoga.
In addition to that each youth will be part of a tribe (their own small tight knit unit within the camp).
Here, sharing and reflecting on their life experiences will happen, as the youth learn the value of their own life story, community, and leadership, all while building bonds within their tribe.
Also, each youth will have their own 1 on 1 mentor during camp that will be a positive and encouraging presence, ready to assist them in anyway needed.
Most importantly, we want to accomplish this with a great sense of childlike wonder! We want our youth to be free to play, to have fun, to be creative, to express themselves freely, and to open themselves up to a world of possibility.
We want them to see just how much power and creativity they possess.
In our time working with these young folks, we've been blown away by their motivation for success, the wisdom they've gleaned from their life experience, and hunger for mentors to help them in their journeys.
