The East Ulverstone Football Club (Crows) is a merger of the Sprent Football Club (Tigers) and the Ulverstone Districts Football Club (Rebels-Red and White vertical stripes)..

The merger happened at the end of the 1999 season, with both teams occupying the bottom rungs of the ladder.
The crows were chosen as the colours are a combination of the colours of the merging clubs.

The merger was a success from the beginning, with the newly formed club just missing the finals in its first year (2000).
In 2001 East Ulverstone made the finals, and in 2002 tasted premiership glory, in only its 3rd year.
East Ulverstone went on to make 3 of the next 4 grand finals (2003, 2004, 2006), only to be unsuccessful in all of them.
The team made the Grand Final from the elimination final on 2 occasions, but the effort to get there took its toll on the team on the big day.

In 2007 the club lost almost all of its senior team.
Many of whom retired, moved away or went to play for Ulverstone in a higher standard competition.
The club went through its darkest hours, copping a 40 goal hiding at one stage and only winning 2 games against its cross town rival who also struggled..

Since 2008 the club has been rebuilding and has shown some promising results, making the finals in 2010 and 2011.
Unfortunately they didn't make it past the first round of finals being knocked out by Forth two years in a row..

The club worked hard to retain the majority of the playing group and through solid recruiting 2012 looked promising for the Crows, but were undone by a determined Sheffield in the Preliminary Final by 17 points.
2013 (6th) & 2014 (7th) saw many players try there skills at higher levels, leaving the club to rely heavily on young players to carry the work load.
Although 2014 wasn't a success for the team, the club had several representatives in the clash Vs the DFA, giving it a good base to launch into 2015 and beyond.
