Eleveurs bovins depuis 3 générations et ovins depuis 2014, nous produisons une viande certifiée AB; nous assurons le bien être de notre bétail ainsi que la production bio de son alimentation.

Quelques explications : .

La limousine, bovin français rustique connu pour ses qualités maternelles et la qualité gustative de sa viande.
Nous pouvons compter 120 mères et environs 230 petits ainsi que 8 taureaux..
Les bovins sont en plein air de mi avril à début décembre où les mères vêlent, ainsi les petits jouissent d'une grande surface pour se developper.

Le suffolk, ovin originaire de Royaume Uni et introduit en France pour son adaptation face au climat.
Dans le troupeau on dénombre une cinquantaine de brebis adultes, une vingtaine de jeunes et deux béliers..
Les ovins sont dehors de mi avril jusqu'à début janvier.

Les limousines ainsi que les suffolk sont nourris grâce à notre production céréalière AB de triticale (Entre le blé et le seigle) ainsi que de pois fourrager AB et tout cela en polyculture (plusieurs cultures sur l'exploitation)..

Afin de garantir un engrais naturel et bio aux plantes, le fumier de l'élevage est utilisé pour celles-ci et ainsi la boucle est bouclée.

J'ai passé un bac professionnel agricole en 1995 au CFA de Quetigny.

Pour mon passage au bio j'ai dû effectuer des formations par la chambre d'agriculture et laisser mes sols en transition avant d'avoir accès au label bio.
