Detailed description is The Mission of the Dynamo Education Foundation is to encourage, support, and fund innovative educational and cultural opportunities for the students of the Allegheny Valley School District.
In the summer of 2011, a group of individuals agreed to serve on a steering committee to develop an education foundation for the Allegheny Valley School District.
This organization was developed to support Allegheny Valley’s mission and help underwrite costs for programs, initiatives, and activities.
By-laws were developed, discussed, and agreed upon to found the Dynamo Education Foundation.
Articles of Incorporation were filed in November of 2011.
A 15-member Board of Directors was seated, officers elected, and committees established.
The Foundation has received its 501(c)(3) status.
The Dynamo Education Foundation is independent of the Allegheny Valley School District, but is intended to support the District’s educational goals..
