Detailed description is Come stay a 'Druid Cottage' a home from home but on a quiet hillside 'Druid Cottage ' is situated on the scenic hillside of Glendree, meaning 'Glen of Druids'.
A warm and welcoming home from home within an hours drive to Shannon, Galway, Limerick,Lough Derg, Birr Castle, the spectacular Burren and the Wild Atlantic Way.

IThe cottage is also beside my own cottage and although I respect the guests space and privacy it is ideal for loan travelers as they have the comfort of knowing that they are not totally alone, on this peaceful rural hillside.
(friendly nearby neighbors too) It is an ideal place for holiday or for doing some work such as research or writing.

This cottage is Open plan with a loft space bedroom; please take note of the rustic and securely fixed wooden ladder as seen in the photos.
The bed is a comfortable mattress on the floor as a full bed would be too high and near the ceiling and there is also a single bed downstairs.

The shower, toilet is in a separate room and the kitchen is in the main room with high airy ceiling, enjoy fresh drinking water on tap from our own natural spring well.

The heating is a wood burning SOLID FUEL stove.
WiFi is strong, well equipped kitchen, hairdryer, iron, washing machine and dryer..
The lounge has playing cards, Cd's, games etc.
The nearby area offers scenic walks, music, horse riding, fishing, golf, restaurants local pubs and art courses.
