Detailed description is ----The Sacred Place of Chumophug is situated in Bhutan under the district called Paro valley at 3100 metres above sea level.
At the start of the journey from the bridge of Silma Temple it goes up to Lhakhang Sarpa (New Temple).
It is difficult for even small vehicles to travel as the road is narrow.
If people start walking from Lhakhang Sarpa, visiting the entire sacred places the journey takes about five hours.NameThis place is known by different names such as Chumophug and Chumphug.
Most of the local people call it Chumphug which means ‘The Cave of Rice’ as the big cliff on the left part of the temple is believed to have hidden treasure of red and white rice, but in most of the biographies of great lamas it is called as “Chumophug”.Sacred sites around the templeTo the right side of the temple is a blessed water source where there also happens to have art of Dharma Treasure and art of Guru’s seal.
On the way up from there, is a pond of Guru Padmasambhava.

The three white forms on the east side of Chumphug are said to be the sacred places of Phurshedra, where Guru Padmasambhava meditated.
