Downriver Runners club runs every Wednesday in Allen Park at 6:30pm and the course is usually from 3 to 6 miles..

The club puts on two races; .
The Riverview Winterfest 4 Mile Run, .

The Allen Park 10K/5K Run/Walk, .
held in August.

The club uses proceeds of these runs to fund the Tony Mifsud Scholarship, which gives $1000 to two graduating seniors from downriver schools that have participated in cross country or track.
